Max

My first Golden.  He was a very difficult dog for a novice handler.  His stubborness taught me so much.  An obsessive compulsive dog who would do ANYTHING for a tennis ball.

Hamish

I was told when I collected him at 8 weeks old the he was crossed with a Boarder Collie.  When he kept growing I reassessed him and decided that dad was actually a Huntaway (New Zealand Herding Dog).  Due to Hamish's jumping ability it was obvious that dad got in rather than mum that got out.

"The Bestest Dog In The World."  That is what I tell him after he has done above and beyond what I ask yet again.  If my next Golden is only half as good I will be happy.  I hope that such a dog comes around more than once in a life time.

Fergus.

A Rotti cross and a softie.  I have told people he has the worst traits of both breeds.  Stubborn and Possesive.  As he has got older he now has the best of both breeds.  He has his Golden moments particularily in the water and his Rottiweiler momements usually when training.
